Upon opening each logic test box, I found that the puzzles were already assembled with one piece removed to allow access to the contents underneath. For instance, beneath the cat mind challenge I discovered the missing thinking game piece along with a plastic bag containing 9 photographic cards of cats, each labeled with the name of their breed. The reverse side of each card lists 7 intriguing facts about that particular cat. Additionally, there was a larger Let's Discuss card featuring 25 questions designed to engage a person with dementia; for example, question number 9 asks, Why do you think people choose cats as pets? I can see how these questions could stimulate conversation and mental engagement as they invite open ended responses without a right or wrong answer. The puzzles themselves are vibrant and visually appealing, To test the difficulty, I disassembled all 3 puzzles, doing one at a time. I wanted to gauge how hassle-free it would be for me to reassemble the puzzles, given that I do not have dementia. For each mind challenge I started by constructing the outer edges before working on the interior. With all 3 puzzles I encountered moments of difficulty which required me to refer back to the picture of the logic test to determine its correct placement. If I found this aspect confusing, I can only imagine how challenging it would be for someone with dementia to complete. Usually puzzles that are geared towards dementia do not contain more than 30 pieces so these puzzles may be better suited for people with a mild cognitive impairment.

This kit is wonderful and sold at a reasonable price. The puzzles are thoughtfully designed with large, durable, simple to handle pieces, making them adequately for someone with cognitive or dexterity challenges. The Gems of Nature theme is features vibrant images that are engaging but maybe a bit overwhelming for some depending on the person. Each mind challenge offers a good an individual focused and stimulated without causing alot of frustration. Though it would depend on the individual. The puzzles encourage cognitive activity and provide a meaningful pastime instead of TV! They’re also good for boosting confidence. If you know anyone with memory issues keeping the mind active is paramount. They're lovely and I love how the kits are assembled. Highly advocate This set makes a very good gift for anyone with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other cognitive challenges, as well as for anyone who simply enjoys puzzles and wants to keep their hands active. Highly suggest this product. (When you break it down, the cost per kit is about the same as a cup of coffee and a muffin these days—but this is a far more meaningful and beneficial way to spend that money).

This is a excellent product. They come in three pack. I got for my aunt while had a stroke to help her keep busy in hospital. The idea of it is fantastic and we are taking them to her tomorrow. They are bright in colour and entertaining
