Colorful and Enjoyable Toddler Puzzles

The wooden pieces are sturdy and well-crafted, with colorful and lively, realistic illustrations that capture my toddler's attention. The pegs are the perfect size for little hands, making it easy for my child to grasp and place the pieces. It’s a great way to develop fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. This set comes with 6 pegged puzzles featuring animals and fruits, and they are unique shapes so they don't get mixed up easily.

We love them!

These are so entertaining, really cute, and well made. We got them for our 1 year old and she loves the pictures. They are definitely something you do with your child until they get the hang of it, but now she'll go and grab them and start to do the puzzles by herself!

Love the images, wood and stickers seem weak

I love that the images are realistic and not animated. Helps give that Montessori vibe. It seems like they are made from balsa wood maybe? And Lazer cut with stickers just adhered to the top. This is smart for mass production of course, but if you have a slobbering baby/teething toddler beware. They will get soggy and the pictures will come off. I've just been very meticulous with supervision and making sure my kiddo doesn't try to eat them. The way the edges are on some of the pieces (mostly the bugs) do make it more difficult to place the pieces until the kiddo has better dexterity. Expect frustrations or just keep the easier puzzles out (fruit, house pets, safari animals) until kiddo gets used to how to use their little fingers. We have 2 or 3 on rotation at a time so my little doesn't get bored with them. We practiced naming all of the images as I placed the puzzle pieces before he was old enough to place the pieces on his own.

Wooden puzzles Set

My son enjoys doing puzzles from time to time and these are great! I think these are best for toddlers between 2-3 years old. You can practice different vocabulary with them while doing these puzzles.

Nice, bright, realistic images, but wish the matching picture was shown on the puzzle base as well.

Things I like:-love that the puzzles use real photographic images of the animals and foods. This adheres well with a Montessori approach, which favors realistic images over illustrations or animations. These real images are often easier for young kids to identify. They are nice bright photos and the variety of imagery is nice for building vocabulary.-wooden pieces-little handles and unique shapes allow toddlers to work on their grasp, fine motor skills, spatial rotation, and problem solving skills.Things I don't love:-I really wish the bases included the pictures as well, so that toddlers could match the picture on the puzzle piece to the image underneath. Instead these bases are just wood. This means that toddlers must choose where to place the puzzle pieces based on the shape alone. This is a much more difficult skill to master. For older kids, this may not be a problem, and is actually a welcome challenge, but for a puzzle marketed to kids 1-3, I think a picture underneath should be included. As my son gets older, I may write the name of each object on the base, so he can match the object to the word. So if you have young toddlers, I think these puzzles will most likely need to be done with a parents assistance and I would definitely suggest only pulling out one puzzle base and the four pieces that match it, so they don't get overwhelmed by the endless possibilities.-I wish the set came with a bag to hold all the pieces together-Puzzles each come individually wrapped in plastic, then all together wrapped in plastic...not the most eco-friendly packaging and kind of unnecessary.
